ANZAC Day 2025 saw our Otara community come together in a powerful moment of remembrance. Hundreds gathered this morning to honour the bravery, sacrifice and service of our armed forces – those who gave their lives so we may live in freedom, those who served to protect our democratic values and those who continue to serve today. Among the crowd stood our proud Hillary Vanguard from L – R: Ruka Benioni, Mary-Anne Malpas and Francis Leilua each paying tribute to our fallen soldiers and standing in support of our rangatahi, who shared their articulate reflections of what ANZAC means to them.
